Extra Curricular Activities
We believe by offering a range of extra-curricular activities including after-school clubs, holiday activities, charity events and support to attend off-site trips enhances and develops a learner’s social and emotional wellbeing. By creating these opportunities it provides learners with new experiences and increases self-confidence.
To ensure the safety is met of all learners when participating in extra-curricular activities, each learner has a completed individual risk assessment and parents are asked to give written consent in agreement.
Healthy competition is always welcome at RTMAT. If learners are making progress and behaviour has made improvements, then learners can attend Football Friday. This is organised football matches against opposing schools. This extra-curricular activity develops teamwork, communication skills and allows the learners to play alongside unfamiliar people so that they develop into well rounded learners.
